Meet WworPoint

WworPoint compiles Markdown, data, assets and CSS into presentations and paged documents. Start with the standalone VS Code extension to preview, validate and export. The optional wwpo CLI supports terminal workflows and automation.

Draft with people and AI. Let AI shape the design. Finish with WworPoint. Use familiar external tools such as ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini to draft content and design source, then have people review both. This application includes no AI model, built-in integration, automatic connection or AI credits.

Write text in Markdown, keep images and data in your project, and customize the design with CSS. Commit sources to Git and review changes. init also generates a guide for LLM agents; WworPoint does not call an AI service or require an account.

Markdown, CSS, Mermaid and Vega-Lite are text formats that familiar external AI tools can read and revise. Ask AI to propose a layout, visual hierarchy, colors and spacing, a process diagram or a data chart, then inspect the source before using it. Combine page layouts and block classes with CSS; use Mermaid for diagrams and Vega-Lite for charts. This gives you flexibility within the supported document structure and rendering rules.

For example, give an external AI the source of the review-process slide, its shared CSS and settings, and the generated AGENTS.md and versioned authoring reference. Share only material you are allowed to send to that service.

Using the supported WworPoint 0.1.0 syntax and these sources, make this slide clearer for a sales meeting. Keep the facts and fictional disclosure unchanged. Use the existing title/default page layouts, Markdown and CSS to improve hierarchy, spacing and color. Revise the Mermaid process diagram for readable labels. Return each changed file separately and explain the changes. Keep assets local, do not add JavaScript or raw HTML, and do not use absolute coordinate positioning. Fit the content to 16:9 without reducing text excessively.

Save the suggested files, inspect the local preview, then run WworPoint: Validate and WworPoint: Export in the Command Palette (optional CLI equivalents: wwpo validate and wwpo export). Review the PDF as well as the facts. AI suggestions may need correction; passing layout validation does not verify factual accuracy. WworPoint does not send this prompt or connect to an AI service. External tools have their own costs and data policies. Arbitrary freehand drawing and unlimited canvas layouts are not promised; raw HTML is disabled by default, and absolute coordinate positioning is outside v1.

  • Presentation mode: 16:9 slides, separated with ---.
  • Paged mode: flowing A4 documents with explicit section breaks.
  • CSV/JSON tables, Mermaid diagrams and Vega-Lite charts.
  • Source and browser layout validation.
  • PDF and static HTML exports, with embedded fonts.
  • VS Code preview, source navigation and Problems-panel findings.
  • Local CLI preview and JSON output for automation.

Speaker notes, math, code syntax highlighting and absolute coordinate positioning are not supported in v1. Marp directives are not supported. Preview, validation, build and export refuse remote resources.
