Install the CLI (optional)

Use this separate path for terminal workflows or automation. The VS Code extension does not require the CLI. Prefer VS Code? Start here.

The CLI is supplied separately to invited testers

See beta access and save the supplied TGZ locally. This is not a public package download from this site or npm. Extension-only users do not need it.

Requirements

• Node.js 22.12 or later and npm.
• Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge or Chromium 154 or later for layout validation, export and Mermaid diagram rendering. WworPoint does not download a browser.

Install the supplied package

From the folder holding the supplied artifact, replace <version> with its actual version:

npm install --global ./wworpoint-<version>.tgz
wwpo --version

The optional --browser <path> argument on preview, validate, build and export chooses a browser executable. See the CLI manual.
